For over four decades, David has worked with governments, tribes, non-profits, and businesses across the Pacific Northwest, helping them navigate challenges and seize opportunities.  

Known for his optimistic and engaging personality, David excels at fostering constructive decision-making among diverse groups. His steady leadership encourages stakeholders to explore new possibilities and make informed choices. With a solid background in natural resources, sustainability, and systems management, David is also a sought-after speaker on a variety of environmental topics. In his spare time, David is an outdoorsman, photographer, and singer/songwriter. 

What was your first job? Does it relate to what you’re doing now?

I was a dairy milk tester as a teen in Enumclaw. Growing up on a farm and working with dairymen always gives me a point of reference when working with the agricultural community.
