Tyler has always had a passion for human ecology, innovation, and a strong interest in problem solving. Through his undergraduate and graduate studies Tyler began to apply these interests at the intersection of the natural, built and human environment using geographic information systems (GIS).

Tyler has always had a passion for human ecology, innovation, and a strong interest in problem solving. Through his undergraduate and graduate studies Tyler began to apply these interests at the intersection of the natural, built and human environment using geographic information systems (GIS). Throughout Tyler’s long career at MFA, he’s utilized these skills to analyze complex environmental cleanup projects, assist clients with long-range facility planning, site new facilities and storefronts, consult public entities on political redistricting, and assist organizations with developing their own GIS programs. Tyler enjoys utilizing his broad range of experience to help drive technological innovation at MFA.

Where is your hometown/where did you grow up?

I grew up in the Central Valley of California and worked in walnut/pecan for quite a few years. The best thing about my hometown was its proximity to Sequoia National Park and the high Sierras.
