Gina plays key roles in many of MFA’s site investigations. With a focus on health and safety investigations, Gina helps identify, manage, and safely mitigate asbestos-containing materials under the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act, supports hazardous building materials inspections, performs lead paint inspections in the state of Washington, and supports identification of heating oil tanks. She has also supported work for Phase I and II environmental site assessments; conducted soil, vapor, and groundwater monitoring; monitored stormwater; and provided key support for construction oversight. In addition to her hands-on expertise, Gina supports gathering lab data and preparing work and safety plans. Gina’s wide range of experience and ability to mobilize quickly is a key reason that MFA is known for its nimble, agile response to our clients’ needs.

When not at work, Gina enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends at the family beach compound, Camp BIG by the Sea.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself!

I was a volunteer firefighter for five years and the only woman in my 40-member fire department. At the same time, I was working at a nuclear power plant and attending college. It was a busy few years, to say the least!
