An Oregon native, Merideth chose to study geology to learn more about the Pacific Northwest, one of the most geologically diverse areas of the country. In her 20-plus-year career, she has grown from collecting data in sediment, soil, and groundwater to overseeing projects that help clients and communities navigate the complexities of site cleanup and redevelopment. As the lead for MFA’s sustainability initiatives, she brings her passion for sustainability into approaches that inform both internal and external projects. She is widely recognized for her collaborative style in managing multidisciplinary efforts and her skill at finding solutions that support the goals of regulators and clients. In her free time, she loves to cook, particularly vegetable forward and seasonal recipes. She sees the whole process of planning, selecting, and cooking as an art and a science.
