Jossalyn is a detail-oriented environmental health professional who solving challenges big and small. She previously managed health & safety operations for a facility of more than 250 people, using her regulatory knowledge and person-first approach to build trust and drive a culture of safety. Jossalyn holds a degree in environmental health, which provided her with a solid foundation in the sciences and regulatory compliance. During her studies, she completed a public health internship for the CDC and Columbia University, developing skills in community-based outreach and public health communication.

Outside of work, she enjoys canning homemade jams and preserves, hiking, and spending time with loved ones. She also likes to get nerdy about infectious diseases; her favorite bacterium is C. botulinum.
