Phil has over 20 years of experience in environmental consulting and scientific research. His background includes a doctorate in biology, and he manages and provides technical and strategic support for sites throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Phil has over 20 years of experience in environmental consulting and scientific research. His background includes a doctorate in biology, and he manages and provides technical and strategic support for sites throughout the Pacific Northwest. His expertise includes sediment assessment and cleanup, and the many facets of upland and shoreline brownfield redevelopment including acquisition, characterization, and funding strategies. He assists clients as they navigate local, state, and federal regulations, and he identifies opportunities to develop protective and cost-effective environmental solutions. In his free time, Phil enjoys mountain biking and kayaking with friends and family. 

A favorite project and why?

We’re completing a soil yard cleanup project. That one is pretty special because we are directly addressing soils with potential to impact families. It feels really good to eliminate that contamination and to make residents feel at home and safe again.
