Max has always had a deep interest in the natural world and pursued a career in environmental engineering to align his professional work with this long-time passion. Since graduating from the University of Washington, Max has gained versatile experience in the consulting world. At MFA, he often assists with fieldwork and has contributed to a wide range of projects, from groundwater sampling for various contaminants, including PFAS, to sediment sampling and construction oversight.

Outside of the office, Max enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest, from the bustling streets of Seattle to the quiet hiking trails of the Cascade Mountains. When he’s not outdoors, he spends time at home trying out new recipes or hosting game nights with friends.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself!

I am an Eagle Scout! During my time in the scouts, I spent many weekends camping and hiking across the Pacific Northwest, from Coeur d'Alene to the Oregon Coast. The time I’ve spent in the great outdoors is a major reason why I chose to go into environmental engineering and ultimately environmental consulting!
