Sam has a passion for engaging with people. His experiences clerking at a local grocery store in high school, selling compostable packaging to industry clients, and building his professional relationships with sustainability-oriented organizations have allowed him to practice his passion throughout his career.

As a consultant, Sam supports sustainability and community engagement projects for government, special district, and business clients throughout the Salish Sea. He graduated from Simon Fraser University’s (SFU) Beedie School of Business with a Sustainable Business major where he developed a holistic, systems-thinking approach that he applies to his work and daily life. He approaches each project with curiosity and enthusiasm, seeking to build strong relationships and discover creative solutions to multifaceted challenges. Outside the office, Sam loves to explore the Cascadia bioregion by foot or cycle; eat and drink in Bellingham’s local haunts; and spend quality time with friends and family.
