Steve has been with MFA since its founding in 1996, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company's direction and culture. With extensive experience in civil engineering and environmental consulting in the Pacific Northwest, Steve has a background in real estate due diligence, stormwater management, industrial wastewater treatment, soil and groundwater remediation, permitting, design, and construction management. He has collaborated with a wide range of industrial clients to create solutions that balance environmental and business goals.

As a principal engineer, Steve excels at negotiating scopes of work with regulatory agencies and managing complex projects. His work includes projects governed by the Clean Water Act; the Federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act; and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act; as well as equivalent programs in Oregon, Idaho, and Washington.

Steve's leadership has been instrumental in maintaining a client-centered approach while ensuring MFA's continued growth and success.

Where is your hometown/where did you grow up?

Growing up in a military family, I called 15 different places home before I turned 18. After experiencing so many environments, I realized early on that the Pacific Northwest was where I wanted to live and build my career.
