Carolyn has worked with numerous public and private clients on projects throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

Carolyn has worked with numerous public and private clients on projects throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Throughout her career, Carolyn has completed site assessments (including Phase I and II environmental site assessments) and characterization, remedial investigations, and remedial actions for various contaminated properties. At MFA, Carolyn conducts investigations at petroleum-contaminated sites, mining sites, dry cleaner sites, wood-treating facilities, pesticide and herbicide facilities, and other hazardous waste sites. 

Outside the office, Carolyn enjoys exploring the outdoors on bike, foot, or ski with her partner and two dogs. 

What was your first job? Does it relate to what you’re doing now?

My first job in high school was working as a switchboard operator and public safety dispatcher at St. Olaf College in my hometown of Northfield, Minnesota. It was a great way to refine my communication skills and build experience interacting with many different people.
