Sean has experience scoping and conducting environmental fieldwork for the purposes of site characterization. He also has experience conducting geotechnical fieldwork and more than five years of general construction experience. His fieldwork has included soil, groundwater, and vapor contaminant sampling, meteorological station equipment auditing, hazardous building material sampling, underground storage tank removal, and construction oversight. Outside of work, he enjoys mountain biking, skiing, attempting to surf, following basically every Seattle-based sports team, and occasionally reading a nice book about ancient history, infrastructure, geopolitics, anthropology, or international water policy.

What was your first job? Does it relate to what you're doing now?

I spent summers working for my parents’ geothermal systems installation/HVAC company, and after-school afternoons working at a daycare. Thankfully, I haven’t had any recent interactions where my experience working with toddlers has come in handy.
