Kathy is a principal engineer with more than 30 years of experience, strategically leading and supporting a wide range of interdisciplinary projects ranging from clean energy and climate resilience to remediation design and restoration of natural resource habitats. Many of these projects have centered around brownfields redevelopment and successfully navigating the environmental challenges that intersect with the unique economic opportunities these sites present. Kathy commonly works with clients’ senior leadership teams, project teams, and their counsel to develop critical strategy at the onset of a project. Kathy brings proven experience providing critical principal support in technical and engineering oversight, strategy development, communications, negotiations, and regulatory and policy interpretation that helps ensure projects are permittable and constructable.

If you were not an engineer, what would you be?

If I wasn’t an engineer, I’d love to be an artist working in large-scale mixed-media sculpture. Metal, wood, clay, glass. All the things. I’m endlessly curious about art in all its forms and one day I’ll give these ideas the time and attention they’re craving.
