Lisa has over 15 years of geologic and environmental consulting experience. She has managed a wide variety of projects, from environmental site assessments to remedial actions that include brownfields and integrated planning grant funded projects. Her most rewarding projects are those that impact local communities and regions. Environmental remediation is really about making an area safe and accessible to the people who live there. In her free time, Lisa loves to go backpacking, golfing, and trapshooting.

If you were not a geologist, what would you be?

Some sort of travel agent/planner or travel guide. I love to travel, and I find the planning part both fun and cathartic. I create itineraries (including lots of downtime) for all of my vacations. I think that planning it out beforehand ensures that we get to see and do everything we can while we are there and still have time to read a book  by the pool or enjoy a cocktail on the beach. I create itineraries for friends and family when they go on vacation too. I love it.
