Abbi Russell

MFA is proud to announce the promotion of Abbi Russell to principal.

Abbi joined MFA’s Vancouver, Washington, office in 2019 as a Senior Communications Specialist. She is a member of MFA’s Board of Directors and leads MFA’s work with the public port sector.

For 18 years, Abbi has been helping organizations and communities talk about projects and issues of all kinds. Abbi is passionate about equitably involving communities in projects and issues that affect their lives. Her work for MFA has ranged from community development and infrastructure projects to strategic planning, public affairs, and ongoing communications and marketing support for public, private, and nonprofit clients in Washington and Oregon. Her experience with public agencies, private businesses, community issues, and regional culture provides Abbi with a well-rounded background to assist clients as they navigate strategic communications needs and plan and build projects that serve the needs of diverse communities.

Abbi is a graduate of Washington State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in public affairs. She is the chair of the Columbia River Economic Development Council Policy Committee and serves as a member of the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce Public Affairs Committee.
