RELATED PROJECT:
Upland and In-Water Remediation for the Astoria Marine Construction Company
MFA conducted work from the risk assessment through remedial design and remedial action at a shipyard on the Lewis and Clark River in Oregon. The river is a tidally influenced tributary to the Youngs Bay estuary. Historical activities at the site included ship sandblasting and repair. Contaminants of interest include tributyltin, PCBs, dioxins and furans, metals, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.

RELATED PROJECT:
Investigation and Cleanup of Cardlock Fueling Stations
MFA to provided investigation and cleanup services following the discovery of a large release from the UST system. The release area was approaching the property boundary, and contained both diesel and gas. MFA conducted a targeted investigation of the UST release, developed a remedial action plan and design, helped obtain a grading permit and a SEPA determination of non-significance, and performed a large petroleum contaminated-soil removal action.

RELATED PROJECT:
Remediation and Closure of Cardlock Fueling Facility
MFA provides environmental management and compliance services for PetroCard's network of over 60 cardlock fueling facilities across Washington and Oregon. To support these ongoing services, MFA maintains a detailed environmental database for these sites and conduct various activities, including compliance assessments for hazardous materials, stormwater monitoring, and remedial investigations and cleanups.
