With a master's degree in urban planning and real estate from the University of Washington and undergraduate degrees in environmental studies and finance, Matt brings a multidisciplinary perspective to complex redevelopment and economic development challenges.

Throughout his career, Matt has guided projects that advance affordable housing, economic revitalization, workforce development, infrastructure planning, and brownfield redevelopment across Washington. His work has helped communities evaluate development opportunities, secure funding, and create actionable implementation strategies for projects that generate long-term community benefits. From supporting equitable transit-oriented development and Black homeownership initiatives to developing statewide strategies for increasing affordable starter-home production, Matt is known for helping clients connect ambitious goals with practical paths forward.

He regularly advises ports, local governments, economic development organizations, and industries on business planning, market analysis, and grant-funded initiatives that can create far-reaching community benefits and policy changes at the local, county, and state levels.
