MFA Promotes Kent Martin to Principal Planner
Maul Foster & Alongi, Inc., is proud to announce the promotion of Kent Martin to Principal Planner.
Kent’s Expertise and Impact
With 28 years of public education experience—including roles as teacher, principal, and assistant superintendent—Kent brings unmatched expertise in school district planning and operations. His background gives him a unique perspective on how facilities, programs, and community needs intersect, making him a trusted advisor to school districts and public agencies across the region.
Kent is known for his calm, inviting facilitation style that creates space for meaningful dialogue and fosters trust among diverse stakeholders. Whether guiding committee discussions, navigating sensitive boundary changes, or helping districts evaluate long-range facility needs, he brings clarity, steadiness, and an ability to build consensus even in complex situations. In this principal planner role, Kent sees opportunities to partner with other school and municipal service organizations in the Northwest and across the country to continue expanding our client base and increasing the GIS services we offer them.
Leadership Across MFA and FLO Analytics
Kent will continue to serve as MFA’s Director of Data Analytics, where he oversees our team of GIS and data analysts. In addition, he plays a pivotal role in his fifth year as School District Sector Lead for FLO Analytics, a wholly owned subsidiary of MFA specializing in planning, GIS, and data analytics services. In this role, Kent leads initiatives that bring together enrollment forecasting, data analytics, GIS, and educational planning to support long-range, community-centered decision-making.
Kent’s promotion reflects his commitment to thoughtful planning, collaborative leadership, and service to school districts and communities across the country. We are proud to recognize his impact and leadership in this new role.
Please join us in congratulating Kent on this well-deserved achievement!
