Krysta joined MFA in 2022 with an academic background in environmental engineering and more than three years of professional experience in environmental consulting. During Krysta’s time at Oregon State University, she studied water and wastewater treatment, air pollution control, hydrology, groundwater hydraulics and remediation, and stormwater design and management.

Krysta joined MFA in 2022 with an academic background in environmental engineering and more than three years of professional experience in environmental consulting. During Krysta’s time at Oregon State University, she studied water and wastewater treatment, air pollution control, hydrology, groundwater hydraulics and remediation, and stormwater design and management. She has significant professional experience with environmental due diligence projects including performing Phase I and Phase II ESAs, and contaminated media management plans; completing construction observation services; and preparing closure reports. Her field work background includes soil, soil gas, and groundwater sampling, well installation and development oversight, and methane monitoring. Outside of the office, Krysta enjoys hiking, playing board games, and spending time on the Oregon coast.

What do you like about working in your field?

Environmental engineering perfectly blends my passion for environmental protection and my love of math, science, and problem solving. I enjoy helping clients navigate solutions for environmental issues while working with a team of individuals at MFA who share my enthusiasm for this field!
