We know that our success starts with our people. Their expertise, collaboration, and commitment to one another create an environment where employees can do their best work while making a positive impact in communities across the Pacific Northwest. That's why we're proud to share that MFA has been named a 2026 Top Workplace in Oregon and Southwest Washington. This year also marks MFA's 14th consecutive year receiving this recognition, a distinction that reflects the strength of our culture and the commitment of our employee-owners.

A Recognition Driven by Employee Feedback

The Top Workplaces program, administered by Energage and published by The Oregonian, is based solely on confidential employee survey responses. The survey measures key aspects of workplace culture, including whether employees feel respected and supported, empowered to do their best work, and provided opportunities for growth.

For MFA, this recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects the voices and experiences of the people who shape our culture every day.

"Being recognized as a Top Workplace is especially meaningful because it comes directly from our employees. As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, I'm proud that we're continuing to live the vision our founders created: a company where talented people can do exceptional work, support one another, and share in the success they help create. Being 100% employee-owned through our ESOP is more than a benefit, it's a reflection of the belief that every employee plays a role in shaping our future."

What We Heard from Our Employees

More than 92% of employees participated in this year's survey, providing valuable feedback on what it's like to work at MFA. Employees most frequently described our culture as collaborative, respectful, supportive, knowledgeable, and community-focused. They also highlighted meaningful work, strong company values, and supportive managers as some of MFA's greatest strengths.

Turning Feedback into Action

At MFA, employee feedback helps shape our future. The insights shared through the survey inform ongoing improvements across the organization, and our leadership team uses that feedback to develop actionable goals and priorities for the year ahead. It's part of our commitment to creating a workplace where people feel supported, valued, and empowered to do their best work.

Celebrating 30 Years of Shared Success

As MFA celebrates its 30th anniversary, this recognition reflects the values that have guided the firm from the beginning: collaboration, employee ownership, and a commitment to doing great work. Our employee-owned structure gives every team member a stake in MFA's future and in the success of the clients and communities we serve.

Thank You to Our Team

We're grateful to our employees for the feedback, expertise, and commitment they bring to MFA every day. This recognition is a reflection of the culture they've helped create and sustain over the past 30 years.
