MFA Promotes Jessica Glenn to Principal Environmental Scientist

Expertise & Impact
With almost two decades of experience in environmental consulting, Jessica has consistently demonstrated technical excellence, strategic insight, and collaborative leadership. Based in MFA’s Portland office and a member of the MFA Board of Directors, she has played a pivotal role in advancing technically sound, strategically informed solutions for clients and has championed significant process improvements internally.
Jessica has led and supported complex contaminated sediment and upland cleanups at sites across the United States. Her expertise spans both CERCLA and state-led cleanup programs, with a technical focus on allocation, cost recovery litigation, site characterization, contaminant fate and transport, source control, and environmental permitting. In this role, she has successfully managed high-profile projects, including the remedial design for the Willamette Cove site, part of the Portland Harbor Superfund Site. Her ability to navigate critical issues and guide multidisciplinary teams has made a lasting impact on project outcomes and contributed significantly to MFA’s growth.
Collaboration & Leadership
Beyond her technical expertise, Jessica builds strong relationships with teams, both internal and external. She leads projects for public and private sector clients and specifically enjoys collaborating with attorneys, industrial clients, and regulatory stakeholders. Her efforts have expanded MFA’s client base, helped clients secure funding for cleanups, and earned her speaking opportunities at industry conferences, where she shares insights on sediment remediation and environmental justice.
